Whats On The Fringe was created as a place for off west-end and fringe theatre to get reviews and listings. With the London fringe theatre scene being so vibrant and more and more productions and venues appearing they became frustrated with the inability to find anywhere that focused on providing reviews for these theatre companies and theatres.

Often fringe theatre productions are better than mainstream theatre and now there is a place that you can go to find out what is happening on the fringe theatre scene, what is good and what is not and what you simply must see!

When approached with this visual branding project my brief explained that they were going for trendy london theatre goers market so it needs to be something that would appeal to them. It needed to be a logo that is both a picture and text. An open brief like this can be a blessing and also create problems. In this case it turned out to be a very interesting project to work with.

Eventually we agreed to dispense with the logo image and just concentrate on the text as the clients liked the text as it is. After emphasising the Capital letters of each word in the Logo to make the phrase more legible, we eventually came up with a suitable design that our clients liked as much as we did. We have captured the trendy look of the brief and created an eye-catching design. Visit www.whatsonthefringe.com to find out the latest in the fringe theatre scene and view our logo design put to use.

Dark Design Graphics has provided me with excellent work throughout the duration of this project. They worked well alongside me to develop concepts based on the initial brief and kept me updated with their progress. The finalised images were delivered on time and as requested. I am very happy with the work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.
